Life will hit you fast and most people are not ready for it!

I have realize that Jeff and I are very private people and like to keep things to ourselves. Alot of our family and friends do not understand and usually jump to conclussions and don't bother to ask us if they have a questions. So here is a run down of our lives from the last 4 years. I do not want people to feel sorry us but maybe you will understand why Jeff and I rely on ourselves and stay closed off.

We lived in Florida with out family close to us for 5 years together. We decided to start a family in 2004 after both of us had great jobs and we were we thought we should be as a couple. We soon realized that getting pregnant was not going to be easy and had to go on fertility drugs. We got pregnant of Jan-04 and had our first miscarriage in March-04. Everyone thought this would break us as a couple but it made us stronger. We tried again and we got pregnant with Payton. I had a rough time and had to have an emergency c-section at 35 weeks. Payton was sick when he was born and had to be in the hospital 10 days due to both lunges collapsing. During my pregnancy Jeff's back went bad and he had to have surgery.

Where have you been?

I guess the bigger question is where have we been?

EVERYWHERE

P and B keep us busy and it is nonstop action in our house.

We promise to keep you updated more on what is going on with us.

Worst Blogger Ever.

So I will say it I am the worse blogger ever.  I am sorry.  Life is fast but I feel God is calling me to do this again so I pray that I have time to get back to this.  Day 1 of blogging.

Looking forward to 2015!!

Christmas was wonderful.  The boys had a great time celebrating with all the family. 

Now we are looking forward to 2015!  We are going to try to keep the blog up!

Meet Walter a new additon to our family!

Braxton has stones!

Finally we have an answer to Braxton's pain, random vomits and over all not feeling good.

He has gall stones...Before you say it yes we know he is only 6 but it is true.  We saw them on the xray and during his sonogram.

So off to a consultation with the pediatric surgeon so we can get it removed and get him back to normal. 

Please keep him in your prayers.  We see the surgeon on the 20th of February. 

Basketball

Braxton started basketball today.   He really enjoyed himself.

I realize it has been a long time since we posted last.  We do apologize.  Life here is busy all the time and we are starting to ramp up for our winter sports.  P has indoor soccer and B has basketball.  We also have birthdays around the corner so get ready for many updates.

A mini vacation.

After 7 long months I finally took the boys to Indianapolis for the night.   We had tons of fun and loved the zoo.

Day 2 of the 2013..

Well I am neglected this blog and don't want to anymore so I have a goal of posting something everyday and hopefully take pictures everyday of the boys so we can remember this for ever. 

Life is to short....We want to remember our blessing and enjoy life everyday!!!

A lot of catching up to do!!!

Well since the last time I posted was March I think I should do some catching up.

April...is a big month for us.  It is P and J's birthday month.  Payton turned 7 and Jeff turned 35.  We had a party and enjoyed ourselves. 

May...included the last days of school and both P and B got great reports.  We now have a 2nd grader and Kindergartener in the house.  Can you believe that B will be in school full time starting mid August.

Payton played soccer this year and Braxton played soccer and t-ball.  They both had fun and made friends and that is what it is about.

June...Jeff and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversay...Can you believe?  We just got back from our family vacation to Florida to spend time with family.  Here are a few pictures...

The vacation was wonderful.  We spend a night at Cocoa Beach and we all had a wonderful time.

Braxton...5 year check-up

Braxton is now 5 years old so that means our annual trip to the doctor.

Braxton was excited to go to the doctor because he wanted stickers.  We love our Dr.

Here is Braxton's stats.

48" tall and 45 lbs.

Braxton is very tall for his age.  The average height for a 5 year old is 43".  He did not gain a pound from his 4 year old check up to this year.  The Dr was a little worried about this so she decided to do some blood work just to make sure that he was as healthy as he looked.  Well three days later we found out he is.

He received 4 stickers in all for being a big boy through getting his flu shot and having blood work done.

We love you Braxton...We are so blessed to have you as our son.
